AI usage
Paid for by the token.
The subscription buys the product; AI work is metered on top of it, so a quiet month costs the subscription and nothing more.
- Rate
- $0.01 per 1,000 tokens. Input and output tokens are metered together.
- When it is charged
- In arrears, on the same monthly invoice as the subscription. Nothing is pre-purchased and nothing expires.
- What it counts
- Tokens sent to and returned by the AI features you run. The running total for the current period is on the Billing page.
- Minimum
- None. An account that runs nothing is billed nothing for usage.
- Your own provider keys
- Add your own Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI key in Settings and those models run on it. The provider bills you directly and we charge nothing for those runs.
Seats
Who a seat is for.
Only Teams is priced per seat, and a seat is only spent on someone who is not paying for Venge themselves.
- Individual
- One seat, for you. Other paid Venge users can still join your workspace — they bring their own access.
- Teams
- Between 2 and 50 seats, at $10 to $30 per seat per month depending on tier.
- What uses a seat
- You, as the workspace owner, and each member without their own paid plan. A pending invitation holds a seat until it is accepted or expires.
- What does not
- A member who already pays for Venge. That access is theirs, so inviting them costs you nothing.
- Changing the count
- Any time, from Billing. Stripe prices the change and prorates the current period before you confirm it.
Billing
The rest of the terms.
Everything else that decides what lands on the invoice, in one place.
- Currency and cycle
- US dollars, billed monthly. There is no annual plan and no annual commitment.
- Tax
- Calculated at checkout from your billing address, and shown before you pay.
- Changing plan
- Upgrades, downgrades and switches between Individual and Teams all run through Stripe, which shows the prorated amount before anything is charged.
- Cancelling
- At any time. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for — see the cancellation and refund policy.
- Failed payments
- Access continues while Stripe retries a failed renewal, so an expired card does not lock you out on the first attempt.
- Payment details
- Handled by Stripe. Card details never reach our servers, and invoices and receipts live in the Stripe portal, reachable from Billing.
